Privacy policy.

Mindplex Media ("we", "I") is a creative and technology studio based in Southern California. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It is written to describe what the site actually does rather than everything a policy could cover.

What we collect

If you submit the project inquiry form, we store the information you enter: your name, email address, phone number (optional unless you ask to be texted or called), company (optional), preferred contact method, the services you are interested in, your project description, and your budget and timeline selections.

Alongside the submission we record the date and time, your browser's user-agent string, and a salted, one-way hash of your IP address. The hash is used only to limit repeat submissions from the same connection; the raw IP address is not stored.

Browsing the site without submitting the form does not create a record about you. The site does not use analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts.

How we use it

Inquiry details are used for one purpose: to review and respond to your request. When you submit the form, a notification is sent to Mindplex Media by email and text message, and an acknowledgment email is sent to the address you provided. We do not add you to a newsletter, and we do not sell or rent your information.

Where it is stored and who can see it

Submissions are stored in a database on a server we control, hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States, behind Cloudflare. Access is limited to Mindplex Media. The database connection used by the website can only read and write inquiry records; administrative access requires separate credentials.

The following service providers process limited information on our behalf: Google Workspace (sending the notification and acknowledgment emails), Twilio (sending the text-message notification, which contains your name, company, services, budget, timeline, preferred contact method, and phone number if provided — never your project description or email), Amazon Web Services (hosting), and Cloudflare (network security and delivery).

Cookies

The site sets a single session cookie. It is used to protect the inquiry form against forged submissions and to show your confirmation page after you submit. It expires when you close your browser and is not used for tracking.

Embedded content

The About page displays a LinkedIn post using LinkedIn's embed. When that section loads, your browser connects to linkedin.com, which may set its own cookies and collect information according to LinkedIn's privacy policy. No other third-party content is embedded on the site.

How long we keep it

Inquiry records are kept for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your request and to maintain a record of our communications. You can ask for your inquiry to be deleted at any time.

Your choices

You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing [email protected]. Please include the email address you used on the form so we can locate your record.

If you prefer not to use the form, you can email directly; the same handling described above applies to email correspondence.

Changes

If the way this site handles information changes — for example, if analytics are added — this page will be updated and the date above revised.
