About
Meet Blas Perez.
I’m a senior software engineer, published photographer, and the person behind Mindplex Media. I understand businesses from two perspectives: the systems that keep them running and the creative work that shapes how people see them.

Engineering
The systems side.
I’ve built software for large organizations, translating complicated business needs into custom applications, medical systems, CRMs, integrations, and customer-facing experiences. My work supports teams across operations, sales, finance, HR, and leadership—solving problems that affect how people work every day.
Photography & film
The creative side.
My creative career has taken me from product shoots for established brands and liquor companies to the ESPYs, BET Awards, and red carpets. I’ve photographed celebrities, models, properties, weddings, and places rarely seen through urban exploration. My video work includes music videos, advertising, and promotional content that puts products, services, and people in focus.
Where they meet
One studio, both disciplines.
At Mindplex Media, those experiences inform the entire project. A website needs thoughtful engineering and a compelling visual identity. A campaign needs a clear message, strong imagery, and somewhere useful to send its audience. A custom application needs to make sense to the people using it.
I work with businesses, brands, and individuals on everything from a focused shoot or logo to a complete website, campaign, or software platform. Whatever the scope, you work directly with me—with the same attention to the idea, the details, and the finished work.
The name
A name with personal meaning.
My brother, Abel Perez, originally started Mindplex Media. He was a technology leader, my mentor, and an important influence on the engineer I became.
Continuing to create under this name is deeply personal to me. It honors his influence while giving me a place to build my own body of work across technology, design, photography, and film.
